Bible Translation – how to choose

Building upon the previous video about different translations of the Bible, we’re looking now at some advice for choosing a translation to read and study!

I’ve got four pieces of advice in here; two for all Christians, and two Anglican-specific.

#1 = 1:44 = Pick one and invest in it

#2 = 4:55 = Use two different types for study purposes

#3 = 6:28 = Make sure it has all the books you need

#4 = 8:44 = Match it to the Prayer Book you use

About Fr. Brench

I'm an Anglican Priest and a sci-fi geek. Therefore, I write about liturgy & spiritual formation, theology & biblical studies, and Doctor Who. But I keep those blogs separate so I don't confuse too many people!
